A note from the founder

Hopin is currently built and maintained by a solo founder. I personally read all feedback, but replies may take a little longer. Thank you for bearing with me — your input genuinely shapes the roadmap.

Getting Started

What should I do in my first week?

    Add your properties

    Go to Dashboard → Properties → Add Property. Enter basic details like name, address, and property type.

    Upload compliance documents

    Add your EICR certificates, gas safety records, fire risk assessments, and insurance policies.

    Review your dashboard

    Check the compliance overview to see what's current, expiring soon, or needs attention.

    Set up notifications

    Configure alerts for upcoming expiry dates so you never miss a renewal.

How Hopin Works

What data does Hopin use?

Hopin uses the information you provide: property details, compliance certificates, inspection reports, and insurance policies. We analyse this data to give you a clear picture of your compliance status across all properties.

What do the outputs mean?

Your dashboard shows compliance status (current, expiring soon, expired), risk indicators, and upcoming tasks. These are based on document expiry dates and inspection results you've uploaded.

Important: Insights are based on the information you provide. Incomplete or inaccurate data may reduce their usefulness.

Limits & Responsibilities

Hopin supports operational understanding, but final decisions and actions remain the responsibility of the operator.

What Hopin does

  • Tracks compliance document expiry dates
  • Provides visibility across multiple properties
  • Helps identify areas that may need attention
  • Sends reminders for upcoming renewals

What Hopin does not do

  • Replace professional inspections or certifications
  • Guarantee legal compliance
  • Provide legal, financial, or professional advice
  • Issue legally binding risk scores or certifications

Remember: Compliance incidents happen — they're not fatal. Not addressing them is what creates real risk. Hopin helps you stay on top of things so small issues don't become big problems.
